Great quality shoe, not for beginning walkers
I absolutely love the look and construction of these loafers. We've had no problems with the stitching, and my son has been wearing these shoes for about 5 weeks, every day.
Unfortunately, he is learning to walk and having the extra 1/3 inch of stitching and sole around the outside of his feet has been difficult for him to maneuver. Walking in these shoes is a little like walking in swim flippers for him. He takes a few steps, sits down, takes his shoes off and cruises away. There seems to be too much extra to accommodate for in learning to step. I just bought another pair of the See Kai Run shoes - See Kai Run Infant/Toddler Eric Trainer and he can take steps on his own and run with assistance in the Eric trainers. The Hugh loafers are going to have to wait on the shelf until our 13 month old is better at walking. They're incredibly cute and very well made, but too easy for our shoe magician to remove and too difficult for him to walk in.
Bottom line: if your kiddo isn't walking, or is really good at walking, these are a good product. If your little one is learning to walk, this is not the right shoe.

Read the reviews and took a chance for the price. Awesome shoe! Great colors, style and quality. Plus, easy to put on and fits fat feet. A became a fan after purchasing the Landon Blk/lime at a Stride Rite shoe for $45.00, should have checked Amazon first. My little guy is a beginner walker, these shoes are made to bend when he needs them to, when he falls they grip the floor/carpet with no problem and he's back up again. I love the different styles available.
Poor quality
The shoes look cute and comfortable on however the stitches around the toes come apart after only one wear! Wouldn't recommend it.
